Abbots Leigh, Ham Green, Pill and Easton-in-Gordano Neighbourhood Plan

The Abbots Leigh, Ham Green, Pill and Easton-in-Gordano neighbourhood Plan was made by Full Council on 9 November 2021.

A referendum was held on the Plan on 23 September 2021, and the vote was 81.34% in favour of the neighbourhood plan.

Examiners report

The Abbots Leigh, Pill Ham Green and Easton-in-Gordano Neighbourhood Plan was submitted to North Somerset Council for Examination on 2 November 2020.

Executive on 23 June 2021 considered the Examiners report and resolved that with the Examiners modifications the Plan will meet the necessary basic conditions and can proceed to referendum. 

We carried out a six-week period of consultation from 1 February 2021 to 15 March 2021. All representations received were forwarded to the Examiner to be addressed during the Examination. You can view the responses received by visiting the Consultation web page.

During the examination the Examiner issued a clarification note seeking additional information from us and the parish councils on certain matters.

The combined parish areas of Pill/Easton-in-Gordano and Abbots Leigh were designated as a neighbourhood area on 25 August 2016.
