A ventilation and extraction statement is required for all applications where extraction equipment for the preparation of cooked food is to be installed (excluding alterations to existing dwellings and proposals for new dwellings).
Requirements
Your statement should show the position and design of the ventilation and extraction equipment and include:
- predicted noise levels compared to current noise levels
- what you have done to reduce noise and odour
- elevation drawings
