We can step in when landowners fail to keep hedges in order. We can ask them to cut back vegetation that overhangs onto the road or that interferes with road users’ visibility.
We will ask landowners to sort the problem out within 14 days. If they don’t, we will deal with the problem and send them the bill.
We also deal with complaints about high hedges which are affecting the reasonable enjoyment of people’s properties.
