We have a variety of roles for young people at school or college, and can also accommodate those in higher education if suitable roles are available.
We offer work experience placements in council departments such as:
- customer service
- libraries
- finance
- business administration support
Roles are available for the following:
- school children in Year 10, aged 15, for their work experience week
- college students for one or two days a week for the duration academic year
- we can try and source Higher Education placements on request
We aim to provide practical experience of the work environment and to raise awareness of the career opportunities within the council.
