If you are appealing for an in year transfer, your appeal must be held within 30 school days after the date your appeal was submitted.
School days do not include school holidays, bank holidays or weekends.

Appeals for a bulk application
To guarantee that your appeal is heard before the start of the new academic year, we require you to notify us of your intention to appeal by a certain date. This will be included in the Statement of Options.
Appeals lodged after the deadline cannot be guaranteed to be heard before the start of the new academic year. However we will aim to hear as many as possible before then.
Bulk appeals are mainly heard between May and mid-July.

This timetable only applies to North Somerset community schools and own admissions authority schools (such as academies) that trade with us to provide an appeals service on their behalf.
