Feedback on the SEND hub

This page will tell you how we’ve made improvements to the SEND Local Offer and how you can provide feedback.

If you have a question about a specific service, support, or anything else not covered by the SEND Hub, the best thing to do would be contact the team in the council you usually work with or get in touch with a partner organisation.

Feedback on the SEND Hub

If you have five minutes, we'd be grateful if you could provide feedback on your experience with the new SEND Hub. You can also let us know if you think something is missing from the hub.

Please don't include any personal information in your feedback form.

You said, we did

We know how important it is that residents with SEND get the information and support they need. We listened to your feedback about the last Local Offer website and have used it to create our new SEND Hub (Local Offer).

This website was created in consultation with children and young people with SEND, parent carers and professionals. Here are the main ways we have changed our website to make it better for you:

  • Migration – we have moved from the North Somerset Online Directory website to the main North Somerset Council website so that we are easier to find. We also renamed our Local Offer to the SEND Hub (Local Offer) so that it’s much clearer what the website is for
  • Layout – we redesigned our landing page with colourful tiles and icons and made sure we had enough tiles to cover the most important areas of SEND support
  • Accessibility – we have made our text short, simple, and easy to read with clear headings. We have tried to make all of our information appear on the webpage, so that you don’t have to read lots of PDFs and Word documents
  • Navigation – we have made the website easier to navigate with clear signposting. We have made sure that from the SEND Hub landing page, you do not have to click more than three times to get to the information you need.

Improvements to the SEND Hub are ongoing, and we welcome all feedback on how we can make it even better. To make sure we keep making improvements, there will be an annual review where we look at all the feedback we have received and explain what we will change.
