New year, new timetable for mobile library

The mobile library in North Somerset has a new timetable from Monday 7 January.

Following an annual review, North Somerset Council is introducing changes to the timetable, mostly around different stop times and stops moving to a different day of the week.

The annual review ensures the best use of the mobile library, taking account of changing demand for the service, operational requirements and customer feedback.

The vehicle provides a library service to 28 communities throughout the district across a two-week cycle. While the majority of stops are fortnightly, busier locations are served weekly and a small number twice weekly.

The new timetable can be found on the council’s website at You can keep up-to-date with the mobile library via the North Somerset Libraries Facebook page and Twitter @NSomLibraries.
