Need an answer?

Where can I get copies of my school exam certificates from the 1970s? Can I have a list of meeting rooms to hire in Worle? What are France’s current overseas territories?

These are just some of the recent questions from residents answered by the North Somerset Library Enquiry Centre.

The centre helps people find the answers to all kinds of business, leisure and study queries.

Despite the presence of Google, there has been a 45 per cent increase in the number of questions it has answered for local residents in the last 10 years.

“We have a large range of resources to hand and a wealth of expertise to handle even the more demanding enquiries,” said community librarian Sarah Bowen. “We try to provide an immediate answer whenever possible, but will get back to you if more in-depth research is required.”

The service is available Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. You can either email your question to answers@n-somerset.gov.uk or call 01934 888 855 or 07919 540 839.
