The local plan must demonstrate how we work with neighbouring authorities and other stakeholders on strategic issues with cross-boundary implications. This statement demonstrates the initial work undertaken through the duty to co-operate to identify the strategic issues, the evidence required and the governance processes. This work will be refined as plan-making progresses.
How we work strategically with neighbouring councils and other bodies
Following our Local Plan 2038: Choices for the Future consultation in Autumn 2020 the Statement of Common Ground has been updated to reflect issues raised by relevant stakeholders as a result of this consultation.
