Public rights of way
Local Access Forum
Local access forums are independent advisory bodies that come up with ideas for ways to improve public access and outdoor recreation for everyone.
They advise decision making organisations about making improvements to rights of way and green spaces in their local area.
Our local access forum
Our local access forum is made up of landowners, access users and other people with an interest in health and conservation. Members are unpaid volunteers, although they can be reimbursed for some expenses.
The forum meets four times a year at a nominated venue.
If you’re interested in joining the forum, contact our local access forum secretary for an application form.
