General Election 2019
A general election will be held on Thursday 12 December.
Register of Electors for candidates
The Register of Electors is available to political parties, candidates and elected representatives.
Candidates can request a copy of the register for the constituency they intend to stand for after the dissolution of Parliament by sending a written request to email@example.com or to the Acting Returning Officer, Old Town Hall, Walliscote Grove Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1UJ.
A copy of the Register of Electors is available for inspection at the Town Hall in Weston-super-Mare for candidates to check electoral numbers for proposers or assentors to the nomination form.
Friday 22 November
We’ll begin to send out postal votes. They should begin to reach households around Wednesday 27 November. If you applied for a postal vote after Tuesday 5 November, yours will be sent out on Wednesday 4 December.

Deadline for receipt of applications for new postal votes and changes to existing absent votes
