An election will take place on Thursday 3 November to elect one Parish Councillor. Only electors registered in Long Ashton, Long Ashton ward will be eligible to vote in this election.
How you can vote at the elections
You can vote in the polling station, by post, or by appointing someone you trust to vote on your behalf, known as a proxy vote.
The deadline to register to vote is midnight on Tuesday 18 October 2022.
If you want to set up a postal or a proxy vote, do it as early as possible and by the deadline.
The deadline to apply to apply to vote by post is 5pm on Wednesday 19 October 2022. This is also the deadline to change or cancel an existing postal vote.
The deadline to apply to apply to vote by proxy is 5pm on Wednesday 26 October 2022.
Poll cards will be sent out around the beginning of October. Your poll card tells you your current voting arrangements and, if you’re voting in the polling station, it will include details of where you need to go.
You do not need to take your poll card to the polling station with you in order to vote.
