Libraries welcome children’s author

Children’s author Christopher William Hill will be visiting two libraries in North Somerset this month as part of a regional tour.

He will be at the Healthy Living Centre Library in Weston on Wednesday 15 August at 2pm, and at Pill Library the following Wednesday (22 August) also at 2pm.

Word on Tour is a celebration of South West writers and poets and comes to North Somerset after visiting Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.

Christopher is an award-winning playwright, radio dramatist and children’s author. His children’s writing includes the gruesomely funny ‘Tales from Schwartzgarten’ series. During his library visits he will be talking about his writing and where he gets his ideas from.

Tickets for these family events are free and are available on Eventbrite.com (search for Word on Tour to find them) or from either the Healthy Living Centre Library (tel: 01934 426 111, email: hlc.library@n-somerset.gov.uk) or Pill Library (tel: 01934 426 070, email: pill.library@n-somerset.gov.uk).

North Somerset libraries have more author events lined up for the rest of the summer. You can find out more by following them on Twitter, @NSomLibraries, or Facebook.
