About recycling centres

We’re improving our recycling centres as part of our new recycling and waste contract, which started on 1 March 2017.

The sites are for our residents to recycle or dispose of household waste.

Household recycling and waste can be taken to the centres free of charge. We charge for construction and non-household waste.

We use automatic number plate recognition systems at our sites to monitor use and to prevent abuse of our facilities.

If you use our sites regularly you may be asked to complete a declaration to confirm waste is from your home.

It’s not possible to walk into any of our recycling centres because there aren’t any designated footpaths around the sites.

Please respect staff at the recycling centres – we don’t tolerate abuse and all sites are monitored by CCTV.
