On-street parking locations and charges
Parking conditions are enforced by uniformed parking attendants in the charging area.
- 20 minutes: 30p
- 1 hour: £1.30
- 2 hours: £2.50
Charges and conditions apply: Monday to Saturday 9am – 6pm, including all Bank Holidays, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. All parking bays are subject to a two hour maximum parking time with no return for two hours, except for holders of trade permits.
Check on the display that the machine has registered all the coins that you entered and that the expiry time is correct before printing the ticket.
The machines accept 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins and no other payment methods. The machines do not give change and our parking attendants do not carry change. If a machine is out of order, use another machine nearby and report the fault.
You can use any of the 50 pay and display machines in the on-street charging area to buy a ticket. Tickets issued in car parks are not valid for on-street parking bays and similarly, tickets bought for on-street parking can’t be used in car parks.
