RADAR National Key Scheme

A RADAR or National Key Scheme (NKS) key is used to unlock accessible toilets which have a specially designed lock fitted to them.

It’s a national scheme across the country which aims to help keep accessible toilets free and clean for people who need to use them.

Anyone who self-identifies as being disabled can buy a RADAR key and there’s more information on the Changing Places website.

You can buy RADAR keys from our local libraries or the Town Hall during normal opening hours. They cost £3.50.
