We provide a range of services for disabled people and carers and
are working to make all our services as accessible as
possible.
We are an equal opportunities employer and have been awarded the
two ticks symbol for our commitment to employ disabled
people.
Social care services include
home help, aids and adaptions, community meals, Carelink, and day
services. We provide support for adults and children with physical,
sensory or learning disabilities.
Help is also available for carers including support networks,
breaks and respite care.
A number of educational
services are available for disabled children. Our libraries
also provide a range of
services
for disabled users.
If you or a member of your family is disabled you may be entitled
to council tax and housing
benefit, grants for adapting your home or help with
transport.
We aim to make our
website accessible for disabled users and can provide
information in alternative formats on
request. |
