Planning Application No. 05/P/2837/0 Outline application for residential development at land at Lodge Lane, Wraxall (Agenda Item 5.10)

The Director of Development and Environment reported on an application for planning permission. The Committee was advised of any comments received after the dispatch of the agenda and reports.

The Chairman exercised his right under Part 3.1(b) of the Constitution to refer the matter for determination to the Planning and Regulatory Committee.

The local Members supported the proposal for residential development but felt that a single access would be preferable.

A Member wanted to know why shops that had formed part of proposals for the development of the site as a nursing home, as previously outlined to the Area Committee, were no longer required. A representative of the Director of Development and Environment undertook to investigate and advise the Member.

Recommended to the Planning and Regulatory Committee: that Planning Application No. 05/P/2837/O be determined accordingly.
