Financial Accountability Select Committee

This now defunct Select Committee considered the finances of the Council and how these were being used. It also considered the annually proposed budget of the Council before it was adopted. It could make comments to the Executive about any financial matters of the Council. The Finance and Resources Policy and Scrutiny Panel has now superseded this Committee with effect from 8th July 2003.
