  1. Draw/write/talk about their own special places (D1).
  2. Identify parts of the church that have a special significance - children go to specific area and talk about it (D2).
  3. Drawing/writing clues about symbols/objects used in Christianity (C1).
  4. Identify aspects of another's experience by drawing or writing about the place special to the vicar (D2).
  5. Recognise a symbol of Christian significance by talking about the relevance and meaning of the crosses (C1/2).
  6. Recall an element of a Christian story conveyed in a stained glass picture (C1).

  7. In group discussion by talking about the symbolism of candles (C2).
  8. Recognise/recall objects used in Christianity by identifying them in the game (C1).
  9. Give simple explanation in discussion about why and how the building is special to Christians (D2).
  10. Children can talk about what they have experienced and what they have found out about the church and its significance to Christians (D1).
