AMV is the agreed syllabus for schools in Somerset and North Somerset. It came into effect from September 2004. Schools in Bath & North-East Somerset are continuing to use the 1998 edition of AMV, though a review will be conducted in the coming year, involving all three local authorities.
In the 2004 revised version of the Agreed Syllabus the AMV attainment targets and areas of enquiry match DCSF and QCA non-statutory guidance.
All the materials on this site have been approved by Somerset and North Somerset LAs as recommended by the Standing Advisory Councils on RE (SACRE)s.
