Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The
Duke of Edinburgh toured North Somerset on a Royal visit in July
2007.
Well-wishers turned out in their thousands to greet the Royal
Party in what was a memorable day for everyone.
The Queen and Duke walked around Knightstone Island on
Weston-super-Mare seafront halfway through their tour on Friday 20
July.
The island is being transformed into residential apartments and
community facilities by developer Redrow Homes with our
support.
