Local council tax support scheme
From April 2013, the government is replacing the national
council tax benefit scheme with local council tax support schemes
provided by local councils. We have consulted with residents about
what should be included in the scheme which has now been adopted.

Fraud
Residents are warned to be aware of scam telephone calls, which
involve someone claiming to be from a company that can
reduce their council tax band. We recommend that you report
any telephone calls like this to Action Fraud, for more information

website.
