We are committed to high performance across our services
and have measures in place to make sure we are performing
well.
We help to deliver the long term sustainable community
strategy through our corporate plan. Each
directorate within the council is required to produce a annual
statement which lays out how the priorities outlined in the
corporate plan will be delivered at service level.
We have a strong performance management framework in place,
which assesses delivery of these priorities using performance
indicators and key tasks. Throughout the year, we regularly
review performance against these tasks and indicators through
formal reports to the executive and the council’s management
team.
We now publish an annual performance report each year that
outlines our performance against the key priorities set the year
before. It is designed to be used by any interested parties to
