We are legally required to run and maintain an
independent remuneration panel in relation to councillor
allowances.
The panel was appointed in autumn 2007 to undertake a review of
the allowance scheme, and its recommendations were accepted
by Full Council at their
meeting on 1 April 2008.
The panel members are:
Dr Joe Conlon (chair)
Dr Paul Phillips
Dr George Reah
Kellie Wade.
