We are legally required to run and maintain an
independent remuneration panel in relation to councillor
allowances.
The panel was appointed in Autumn 2011 and is
currently undertaking a review of the allowance scheme.
Their recommendations will be presented to council at their meeting
in January 2012. The scheme in place at present was accepted
by Full Council on 1
April 2008.
The panel members are:
