about the contracts we are putting out to tender.
Our
Advertised Contracts Database contains the details of contracts
for which we are currently seeking suppliers.
It gives a full description of the services we are looking to find
a contractor for, the deadline for applications and any relevant
contact details.
Most of the contracts we offer fall into one of the following
categories:
- Framework arrangement - Provides goods and services as and when
required over a fixed period with no prior agreement to purchase a
specific quantity of goods or services although normally an
indication will be provided of estimated usage
- Call off contract - For a fixed quantity of goods or services
at agreed prices with an agreed timescale
- One-off contract - Meet a specific need and are generally
short-term agreements to supply goods and services to meet an
individual requirement. For example, the supply of specialist
scientific equipment for our Trading Standards Service or the
supply of consultancy services for a particular project
- Renewable contract - For services required on a regular basis
and generally let over a longer peiod of time, perhaps three to
five years, and monitored on a regular basis
