The council is made up of 61 elected councillors
who represent the views of local people across North
Somerset.
They set the council's overall direction and ensure we are
accountable to the local community.
The way we are run is then governed by our
Constitution
which sets out our procedures and standards.
We aim to provide good value for money through effective financial
management and listening to your views.
We are working to provide good standards of customer service and
are regularly inspected to ensure we provide quality services.
Our performance is also measured against a number of targets
which are monitored regularly and reported.
