Clevedon police station is now situated at our
Castlewood offices.
Local people will be able to access police services
such as crime reporting, general policing enquiries and lost and
found property alongside council information, public computers and
a payment kiosk.
The old police station at Queens Road will no longer be open for
enquiries.
Chief Superintendent Julian Moss said: "Castlewood provides a
well-known and more accessible location for policing services in
Clevedon and will help us work with the Council and other partners
more closely."
Councillor Nigel Ashton, Leader of North Somerset Council, said:
"We have been working closely with partners at Castlewood for some
time and now having the police based here as well takes this close
working relationship to another level.
"It extends the range of services available at Castlewood for local
people, and also makes it easier for us to work together to build
safer and stronger communities in North Somerset. It also makes
financial and operational sense for both organisations."
