Our liaison officers aim to establish an effective
communication and partnership between ourselves and town and
parish councils across North Somerset.
Each town and parish council is allocated a senior
officer who provides a first point of contact for
problems and who represents us at their meetings.
They have regular contact with town and parish chairmen and
clerks to help foster co-operation between our two
organisations.
This role does not replace existing lines of communication for
the day-to-day operation of services but serves to complement these
relationships and the role of ward members.
