We are required by law to collect and publish electoral information each year in the form of a register.
To vote in elections your name must be included on this Register of Electors or electoral register and we are required to publish it by 1 December. Payment of Council Tax does not automatically register you.
In August/September each year we will send out a form to every household in North Somerset requesting their electorate information.
If you have not already completed this form then please complete the reminder form which will be sent out in mid-September.
To help you complete these forms correctly we are required to call on every home which has not returned either the original form or the reminder.
You are required to complete this form telling us about your household as of 15 October and return it to us as soon as possible and failure to complete it means you are breaking the law.
If you haven’t returned your form please do so as soon as possible. You can also hand forms in at the Town Hall in Weston-super-Mare or your nearest library.
