represent the views of local people.
We often join forces with
neighbouring
local authorities or the
South West Regional
Assembly to work for the benefit of the region.
The area's MPs and MEPs
represent local interests on the national and European stage.
Town
and parish councils provide the most local form of democracy
and work to improve their local communities.
