We are now responsible for issuing a range of
gambling licences and permits in North Somerset under the Gambling
Act 2005.
This legislation covering gaming activities changed in 2007
and we have taken on additional responsibilities under the
Gambling
Act 2005.
Under the Gambling Act 2005 we now issue a range of
licences and permits which includes the following:
- Gaming machine permits for arcades and other premises
- Gaming machine permits in public houses
- Gaming machine permits in clubs
- Bingo premises
- Off course betting premises
- Small Society Lotteries
- Prize gaming
