We register any premises used for a food business
within North Somerset.
This includes market stalls and delivery vehicles as
well as cafes, restaurants and fast-food outlets.
It allows us to keep an up-to-date list of these premises for
inspection purposes.
Anyone starting a new food business must register with us at least
28 days before doing so.
There is no charge but your address and business type details will
be entered into a public register.

Once registered, you only need to notify us of a change of
proprietor, if the nature of the business changes or a change of
the address.
