We are responsible for licensing a
wide-range of businesses and business activities within North
Somerset.
These range from regulating tattooists to credit brokers and
debt collectors and nightclubs.
Under the
Licensing
Act 2003, which merged six old licensing regimes into one
system, we are responsible for licensing all businesses which sell
and supply alcohol within the district.
This combined with the other licences we are
responsible for means we play a part in the regulation and running
of most local businesses. |
