We are responsible for licensing the
supply and sale of alcohol, public entertainment and late night
refreshment within North
Somerset.
As required by the
Licensing
Act 2003 we have adopted a licensing policy which sets out how
we intend to administer and enforce the
legislation.
We have recently reviewed our licensing policy and agreed a

Legislation requires us to ensure the following licensing
objectives are met:
- public safety
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- the prevention of public nuisance
- the protection of children from harm.
