Disabilities

If you or a member of your household is disabled then you may qualify for council tax relief.

This can also apply if your home contains any of the following:

A second bathroom or kitchen required for meeting the needs of a disabled person
A room set aside to provide facilities for a disabled person
Sufficient room for a disabled person to use their wheelchair indoors

If you are entitled to a reduction this will come in the form of lowering your property band to the one below the one allocated for your property.

This reduction is available even if your property is in Band A.
