We consult with local people on how we can improve
our services, performance and to decide on how to best use our
resources.
We run several consultations each year to involve local people
in our plans for the long term development of North Somerset. You
can register to take part in our
Local
Development Framework consultations online.
You can search for all our other consultations and sign up to
take part using our new register of council consultations, called
eConsult.
About 1400 local people regularly take part in consultation via our
Citizens'
Panel.
Once every three years all councils in England carry out a standard
survey of public opinion in their district. The
report of this 'BVPI General Survey' for North Somerset is now
available.
Other types of consultation we carry out include public
meetings, surveys, discussion groups and user forums.
