You may experience some problems using our online
mapping system.
Here are some of the more common problems you may find when
using the facility with explanations which may help you correct any
difficulties you encounter:
- Download times - If you have a dial-up
connections you may find it slow loading the maps. Please be
patient
- Screen resolution - The map is designed for a
resolution of 1024 x 768 or above
- Web browsers - The system has been designed
and extensively tested on PC's with Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6.
Older versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape users and users with
other web browsers may experience problems using the system. If you
encounter any problems please, where possible, provide us with
details of your operating system, web browser, JavaScript and style
sheet settings and whether you have any sort of pop-up blocker
installed
- Pop-up blockers - You may experience problems
if you use a pop-up blocker. Google users can add the website to
their whitelist of permitted sites or hold down the CTRL key when
using the site to allow pop-up windows to
open
