Decision made by EM- HC and EM - DL: The overall
capital budget for affordable housing development was approved by
Council on 20/2/07 as £3,000,000. Capital Board has received for
information and consideration a copy of the proposed detailed
development programme. As Executive Members responsible for the
Affordable Housing Development programme you are asked to approve
the detail of the proposed programme as at 20/03/07. In order to
ensure targets for 100% spend in 2007/8, further amendments to the
detailed timing of programme may be required and these will be
brought to Members for approval as necessary.
The programme looks ahead to 2008/09 to provide for developments
that are deliverable now and are to be forward funded by the
housing associations in 2007/08. Members are asked to approve these
schemes in principle whilst acknowledging that the budget setting
for 2008/09 will not take place formally until late in the
financial year.
