The
Executive is made up of eight councillors who take lead
responsibility for a number of service areas.
The Executive delegate some of their powers to individual Executive
Councillors who have responsibility for a particular area of the
Council.
The Directors of the Council, who are responsible for day-to-day
day decision making, also have delegated powers given to them from
the Council to take decisions.
