The council is made up of 61 councillors who represent the views of
local people.
The
full council meets monthly to make key decisions about the way
the council works.
There are also a variety of other
committees who make recommendations and decisions about
particular issues or services.
Agendas and papers for committee meetings are made available to the
public five days in advance with the
minutes and details
of decisions
available afterwards.
Draft minutes have not been approved by the council/committee
and therefore cannot be relied upon until approved, but appear on
this site to give general information.
Visit the West of
England Partnership for agenda papers and details of public
meetings that they organise.
