As part of the continuing program of capital
investment in the highway infrastructure, we will be carrying out
maintenance works on Claverham Road, Yatton, from 28
July.
The work will begin with kerb and footway repairs for just over
two weeks, then the carriageway will be resurfaced from the
junction with B3133 through to just past Streamcross, a distance of
approx 1.4km. The whole project will take approximately four weeks
to complete and will cost £200,000.
Due to the narrow width of the road it will be necessary to
close the road to all through traffic. A signed diversion will be
in operation via the A370. Bus service changes for the diversion
are being discussed and details will be available nearer the
date.
Access to properties and business will be maintained and site
staff will be available on site should any problems arise.
The work will be carried out by Ringway Infrastructure Services Ltd
on behalf of the council. |
