Cycling is a cheap, easy and healthy way to
travel.
It also benefits from being environmentally friendly and can
be quicker than many other modes of transport.
In order to encourage more people to turn to pedal
power we have built cycle routes
and introduced cycle parking
across the district.
We also offer advice on
cycling road
safety and have plans in place to help reduce our
reliance on other vehicles.

which meets regularly to discuss issues affecting cyclists in North

If you don't have a bike, maybe your employer offers the
Cycle
to Work Scheme which will enable you to purchase a bike
and make big savings on the normal cost of buying a
bike.
