We provide free bus passes for older people and
residents with disabilities in North Somerset.
If you are 60 or over or have a disability that meets our
eligibility
criteria you may be able to apply for a Diamond Travelcard,
which will allow you to travel for free on local buses anywhere in
England.
You must be a permanent resident of North Somerset to apply for
a Diamond Travelcard.

Passholders can travel on local buses for free between 9.30am
and 11pm Monday to Friday and all day on weekends and bank
holidays.
If your journey starts in North Somerset, Bristol, South
Gloucestershire, and Bath and North East Somerset then you can
travel from 9am Monday to Friday.

We've created a new plastic smartcard with the holder's photo
printed directly on to the card. If you have an old version of the
card please contact our
Diamond
Travelcard team for a replacement.
Diamond Travelcard holders may also be eligible for a
senior railcard, which
offers discounted travel on most rail fares. Please note that
Diamond Travelcards can not be used on trains.
