Bus travel

Travelling by bus is environmentally friendly and there is a network of bus services operating in North Somerset.

You can download bus timetables, the North Somerset Travel Map or contact Traveline for more information about local bus services.

If you are 60+ or have a qualifying disability you may be entitled to a Diamond Travelcard for off-peak travel on local buses throughout England.

We do not operate our own bus services but work with commercial operators. We also directly fund the operation of additional services, known as supported services.

We are working to make your journey by bus easier and more comfortable. We have installed many new bus stops, raised kerbs and shelters through the Local Transport Plan and Greater Bristol Bus Network. We have improved public transport information at bus stops, on our website and by producing our own timetable booklets. You can now even get bus times on your mobile phone.

Additional improvements are being made with funding from the Local Sustainable Transport Fund. This fund aims to promote buses and other sustainable ways of commuting to work.
