We deal with the transport network across North
Somerset to ensure that people can get around in a safe and
efficient way.
Our Joint Local
Transport Plan (JLTP) sets out transport policies for the
district.
Road safety is a priority for us and we run a number of
initiatives to reduce road casualties and traffic speeds.
We also work with schools and businesses to develop travel
plans.
These are designed to create safer journeys using sustainable
transport and reduce road congestion in a bid to find a balance
between the need to travel and to improve our quality of life.
