We consider applications from businesses for
access to certain streets in Weston-super-Mare for deliveries,
collections and maintenance work.
If you require access to Regent Street, High Street
or Meadow Street you can download, fill in and send off our
vehicle access application form.
Alternatively, if you contact us we will send you a form within 10
working days.
Once we have received your application we will send a copy to the
police for
security and enforcement purposes.
Vehicle access to the pedestrianised part of High Street is
provided by the use of a key used to lower bollards at its north
end.
Key applications take a minimum of three working days to process
and you need to give us proof of your public liability insurance to
the value of £5m.
We also ask for a £400 deposit which will be returned when the key
is handed back.
If your application is successful we will tell you where to can
collect your key as we will not post one to you.
If you require off-road parking outside your home we can look at
providing you with dropped kerb access. |
