We consider applications to lower kerbs
outside properties within North Somerset for off-road
parking.
You will have to employ a private contractor to carry out the
work but you still need to apply to us for permission.

After receiving your application we will tell you if
planning consent is required.
We will then visit the site to see if a dropped kerb is suitable
and will visit again during construction to ensure the work meets
our specifications.
You should ensure your contractor informs us of their proposed
start and finish dates so we can carry out these
inspections. If this does not occur we may not be able to
approve the work.
We will assume responsibility for maintaining the kerb as
long as it meets our standards and your contractor has guaranteed
their work for a year.
