We coordinate the collection of abandoned vehicles from
highways across North Somerset and arrange for their destruction or
sale.
Abandoned vehicles
We can prosecute anyone who leaves a vehicle but our powers
are restricted to removing only abandoned vehicles. If you
think a vehicle is abandoned,
report it online.
Untaxed vehicles
Untaxed vehicles which have not been abandoned are the
responsibility of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency
(DVLA) and can be
reported online or its freephone Enforcement Hotline on
0800 032 5202.
Vehicles involved in parking complaints
We currently have no powers to remove vehicles involved in
parking complaints, these issues are handled by
Avon and Somerset
Police. Parking issues can be reported online via the
Avon and
Somerset Police website or its non-emergency number on 08454
567 000.
