Around 1,500 competitors will be taking part in the
Tough Ten race in Weston-super-Mare on Sunday 19
February.
They will set off at 11am from the seafront on a gruelling
10-mile, multi-terrain route which will take them through Weston
Woods and along the Kewstoke Toll Road.
As a result, the Toll Road will be closed from 10.45am - 1.15pm
on the day. The recommended alternative route during the closure is
using Bristol Road Lower, Upper Bristol Road, Spring Hill, Church
Road, Kewstoke Road and vice-versa. Bus companies are advising
passengers of any changes to services affected by this closure.
The proceeds from the charity run will go to the
RNLI.
